My name is Karissa Durbin.  I started with Tupperware in August of 2006.  Back then I was looking for plastic cups because it seemed that the 4 of my kids just couldn’t help but break all of our glass ones.  I was looking online and came across Teresa Alberghinia’s website.  I originally started an online party with her thinking that this would be a great way to earn some free Tupperware.  I then thought a little longer about it and decided that if I was going to take the time with my friends and family in sending them emails then I need to be making the most possible, thus I became a Tupperware “Internet” consultant.

I have 4 children, Will 9, Laura 11, Justin 14, Nick 17, and a husband – Tim.  They have all been very supportive of my new business venture, especially since getting into the Director in Qualification (DIQ) program.  The kids are very excited about the possibility of going to Disney World and are helping me out any way they can to get us there (by taking flyers, catalogs, etc…to school to hand out to teachers and friends).

I have been in Information Technology with Corporate America for 21 years.  Tupperware and the DIQ program have been very motivating to me because I can see that when someone works hard they REALLY can earn a car, trips and cash bonuses.  Being a perfectionist, I always set high goals and expectations for myself.  In doing so I have been rewarded by Tupperware with the opportunity of going to Party of the Year❠last year at Jubilee, car bonus program in which Tupperware is basically paying my car payment, an extra bonus on my team sales and recognition from my Director, Teresa in the form of receiving special gifts and mementos, from brunch at a local crepery to wonderful product collections and more. After all the years and hard work I gave to Corporate America, I NEVER received this type of recognition or rewards.  Tupperware has also allowed me to use my creativity.  I am the type of person that can outside of the box and in doing so I have built a strong Tupperware Internet business and team.  I enjoy the team I work with and have made a lot of great friends.  Especially with my director Teresa.  She and I have a lot in common and we are a constant support system to each other.  Of course there are/were downtimes/setbacks and challenges as with any business you own.  But, I look at those as opportunitie and always stay optimistic.  That is the way I tackle life events as well.  I have named my team Tenacious Believers  as a correlation to who I am.  My team motto is Never give up.  Just Believe and make it happen.  I look forward to many years with Tupperware and all the new opportunities it has and will have to offer.  Look me up on Facebook and say “Hi” by doing a search for my first and last name Karissa Durbin.  I look forward to hearing from you!
